9ct Gold AIF Fob 1939 - 1945. A good example of community recognition of a serviceman's return from overseas duty. Presented to John Francis Dransfield by the residents of Rappville, NSW. Rappville is a small village in northern New South Wales, Australia. At the 2006 census, Rappville had a population of 259 people. Rappville was named after an early land owner, Mr. Rapp. The North Coast railway passes through, and a now-closed railway station opened 1905. In good condition with jump ring attached.
